Eklöf Ehnert is a design studio based in Säter, Sweden, established in 2022 by Ida Eklöf (b. 1988) and Heinrich Ehnert (b. 1988).
Ida, hailing from Sweden, pursued her design education at HDK-Valand - Academy of Art and Design. Heinrich, originally from Germany, initially trained in blacksmithing and metal design, later delved into industrial design at Burg Giebichenstein in Germany and Konstfack in Sweden.
Together, we bring a complementary set of skills to the projects we undertake. Ida’s primary focus lies in the emotional and aesthetic aspects of materiality and Gestalt, while Heinrich is more oriented towards research, material exploration, and technique.
